First day of school

This year was a fun 1st day of school. Not only was it the 1st day of kindergarten for Kaden but, it was also my 1st day of work at school.

Tyler started 4th grade this year and was able to pick his teacher. The funny thing is he probably picked the most strict 4th grade teacher in the school. He has also really been into reading and made his reading goal before the middle of the term. Tyler also loves to hang out with mom at morning recess and be the "assistant duty".

Blake started 2nd grade and is still up at Hill Field Elementary. He's the lucky one who gets to ride the bus to school. They pick him up and drop him off right in front of the house. This year he is really working hard and is willing to try everything even if he has no idea how to do it. A major improvement for Blake.

Kaden started Kindergarten and is loving his independance. He is adjusting very well to all day kindergarten and eating like a big kid in the lunch room . He also loves to get a kiss from mom everytime recess is over. I LOVE MY JOB!

Sydney was a little dissapointed that she didn't get to go to school this year. But she gets to spend time with dad while everyone is at school.

And I started my new job at Wasatch. I spend my day helping at recess, in the library, and in the office. It is a perfect job because I get to spent time with Ty and Kaden then I'm home in time for Justin to go to work. Then I get to spend time with Sydney. It will be even better when Sydney starts school, because Justin can go back to a normal daytime schedule. **Hint*Hint**

Kaden, our Birthday Boy!

I'm a little late but, I want to wish Kaden a Happy 5th Birthday!
Kaden was born August 17th (Mommy's late Birthday present)
He weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces.
He was 20 inches, just like all his other siblings.
Kaden was our chubby music loving baby. He was happiest when he was sitting in front of the computer listening (and watching) music.
He is now the curios free willed child of the family.
If he wants to see grandma, he goes. He was always curious to see what could be flushed down the toilet. And he is always getting into some cleaner, lotion, or putting on mommy's make-up!
We LOVE you Kaden! Happy Birthday

The New House

The New House
If it looks familiar to anyone it's because it is kiddy-corner to the house I grew up in.

We where given the opportunity to rent this house from our friends (Thanks Chris and Jaime!)

It is a major size upgrade compared to what we where in.

In this house Justin and I don't have a computer or kids toys in our room. We actually have a kitchen table that the kids eat at! Ty and Blake have a room of their own. Even though Blake's room really doesn't have finished walls. He is just excited to have a space of his own. Kaden and Syd are sharing a room for now until the Basement rooms get finished. The living room is not used for everything, just for sitting, reading, and not playing with toys. The family room upstairs is where we hang out and watch Movies with the fam. One day the family room downstairs will be finished and will have a TV for video games, board games, toys, and entertaining friends. Right now it just has JUNK.

We have been so blessed to be able to live in this house!

Our Little House

We lived in our little house for six years. And when I say little, I mean little!
We moved into the house when Tyler was three and Blake was turning a year.
At the time it was a perfect house. A two bedroom house for our two little boys. We finally had our own space, a driveway we didn't have to share, our own yard.....
What more could you ask for?
Then we had Kaden. Okay, we can add one more kid to our little house. After all three boys in one room, that's not totally unheard of.
Then we started questioning what we where going to do when Sydney came....
Okay we can build on!
In the mean time, practically every room in the house was playing double duty. The living room was the everything room. We had family meals there, it was our home theater, the toy room, the anything-you-do-while-you-where-awake room.
The kitchen was of course, the kitchen. It was also the laundry room, the race track, the bowling ally and the skating rink.
The kids room....What more do I say, it was a bedroom for four kids!
The hall way...This eventually became a mini bedroom when the kids refused to share beds. Crazy, Huh?!
Our room became the computer room and Sydney's toy room.
Let me tell you, that can drive the strongest person to insanity.
We talked big about our plans to build on. We where going to add a family room, another bathroom, a kitchenette, and three more rooms!!
Then a strange twist of happenings came our way.
So WE MOVED!

We have been so blessed to have our cute little house for the past six years. It will always hold a special place in my heart and memory but, our family was REALLY ready for a bigger house.
We will forever love our 1st little house!!
